About Us
The Alken Fund is an open-ended investment company established in November 2005 and regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). The Alken Fund invests in a range of equity and fixed income strategies designed to meet different risk-adjusted return objectives and investors' long-term financial goals. We serve a broad base of professional and institutional investors in global markets.

Our product offering comprises a range of long-only and long-short strategies that invest in European listed companies. These strategies are based on a fundamental, high-conviction and unconstrained investment approach. The fundamental principle that guides our investment philosophy is to generate returns that consistently outperform the market average over an entire investment cycle.

Our product offering consists of global fixed income strategies in convertible bonds and traditional corporate bonds following a fundamental, high conviction and unconstrained investment approach. The team focuses on high quality companies with improving outlooks to generate sustainable returns out of a structured investment process to ensure consistent decision making.

The Alken Fund was incorporated in 2005 as a result of investor confidence in Nicolas Walewski's track record and expertise in managing European equities. Investment management is delegated to London-based boutique Alken Asset Management Ltd, while oversight is provided by AFFM SA, the management company.
The Alken Fund European Opportunities, our flagship fund, was launched in January 2006 as a flexible, concentrated and unconstrained strategy.
The Alken Fund European Small Cap was launched aiming to invest in smaller capitalisation names and exploit market inefficiencies inherent to the asset class.
In response to investor demand, the company decides to launch the Alken Fund Absolute Return Europe, a directional long-short strategy designed to capitalise on the team's stock-picking ability while targeting a more conservative investor base.
After more than a decade managing European Equities, Alken decides to diversify its sources of income expanding into Fixed Income with the launch of two strategies , the Alken Fund Global Convertible and the Alken Fund Income Opportunities.
